CHURCH LADY (IRE) tracked from inside, drew closer on the backstretch, had to pause when running up behind the leader and got boxed in approaching the five-sixteenths pole, coaxed along still near the fence late on the bend, tipped out and brushed JUSTIVAR in upper stretch, bid three deep between rivals into the final furlong, dug in the last sixteenth and outkicked a trio of rivals. MUSICAL SONG showed the way from inside, took pressure past the half-mile pole, cleared briefly at the three-eighths pole, challenged again at the five-sixteenths marker, lost command with a quarter mile remaining, fought on from inside through the lane and proved a game second. WITHOUT A POUT (IRE) raced up close in the two path, applied pressure past the half-mile pole, lost contact briefly into the far turn, drew alongside MUSICAL SONG again midway around the far turn, put a head in front at the quarter pole, carried a short lead into the final furlong but flattened a bit late. JUSTIVAR settled outside a pair of rivals early, outside a rival on the backstretch, drew closer two wide on the far turn, brushed by CHURCH LADY (IRE) in upper stretch, bid four deep immediately after, lacked the needed final kick and shared the show honors. SILVER FLIRT trailed in the two path, moved inside on the backstretch, got put in tight at the three-eighths pole, continued to save ground through the far turn, angled out in the lane and lacked further response. EASTWICK stalked keenly from the two path, followed three deep in the middle stages, lost ground around the far turn, came two wide into the stretch and tired.
