Footnotes
OLE SILVER raced up close outside the leader in the three then two path, headed that rival on the backstretch, put a head in front at the quarter pole, came under a ride turning for home, put IVORY MOON away in upper stretch, drifted out a bit from left-handed urging midstretch, switched to the right-hand and powered away. IVORY MOON hustled to the front from inside, led in the two path then next to the fence on the first turn, challenged by OLE SILVER on the backstretch, roused midway around the far turn, lost command at the quarter pole, could not kick on with OLE SILVER In upper stretch, weakened in the furlong grounds but managed to save second. VIOLET STORM stalked in-hand on the inside early, tipped to the three path around the far turn still within striking distance of the top pair, fell out of range at the top of the lane, churned on down the stretch but could not get by IVORY MOON for the place honors.
