MAXIMUN GOLD followed in range off the rail then moved into the two path for the turn, tipped out and loomed four wide into the stretch, stormed to the front under left then right-handed encouragement, then drew away under hand urging and was ridden out to the wire. HEADSTRONG WAYS pressed three deep to the turn, moved up on even terms around the bend, carried a short lead over inner rival turning for home, yielded to MAXIMUN GOLD in upper stretch and stayed on to hold second. MISTY HEART dueled from outside up the backstretch, fought between rivals on the turn, was no match for the winner in upper stretch and kept to task to hold third. LIL' BOOM BOOM sat off the pace on the inside, hugged the rail to the stretch, kept trying through the lane and rounded out the superfecta. EMPRESS OF GRACE chased off the rail then moved inside for the turn, tipped out into the lane and weakened. KOOL TAP DANCER chased widest in the early going, rounded the bend outside a pair of rivals, angled in a bit entering the lane and weakened. SEI BELLA chased from off the pace, went two wide into the turn, four wide into the stretch and failed to menace. LENA LINDGARD dueled from inside to the turn, fought with outer pair around the bend, yielded in upper stretch and faded in the furlong grounds. APPROVAL RATING got crowded twice in the early going and fell back to last, went two wide into the turn, tipped outside a pair of rivals around the bend, came five wide into the stretch and was never a factor.
