WILD WEST COAST broke well then sat off the pace outside a rival, took the turn three then two wide, rallied between and moved out to bump a rival at the eighth pole, angled out further midstretch, surged late and overhauled the runner-up. A GREAT SHAKING sprinted clear, showed the way along the inside to the lane, challenged in upper stretch, resisted into the final sixteenth and yielded to the winner late. CLUBHOUSE BRIDE followed in range along the inside, ridden along through the turn, exited the bend in the two path, challenged A GREAT SHAKING from outside in upper stretch but failed to summon the needed late kick. WHOPPER FACTOR settled inside, hugged the rail to the stretch, rallied up the fence but flattened out in deep stretch. MAGGLES MCGEE tracked two wide out of range into the turn, spun three wide into the lane, chased four deep in upper stretch and went evenly late. MENDELSSOHNS ANGEL sat off the pace up the backstretch, chased in the two path on the turn then found the rail late on the bend and lacked further response. NELL'S LEGACY angled in trailing early, saved ground through the turn, moved out in the lane and passed tired rivals but was never a threat. RYAN'S GIRL stalked the lone speed outside a rival, continued two wide through the turn, took a bump from the winner at the eighth pole and weakened. BESSIE COLEMAN tracked three deep leaving the backstretch, came four wide into the stretch and weakened.
