Footnotes
BOSS SULLY broke alertly, raced up close from outside, stalked two wide around the turn, confronted FLYOVER in upper stretch, put a head in front with a furlong remaining, battled into the final sixteenth, brushed FLYOVER late and inched ahead under some right handed encouragement and strong handling for the victory. FLYOVER stepped to the front, showed the way along the inside through the turn, challenged by BOSS SULLY in upper stretch, lost command at the eighth pole, fought back while brushing late and finished a game second. LONESOME STEW content to trail early, went outside ON THE WHIM on the turn, angled out crossing the dirt and finished willingly to gain third. ON THE WHIM sat off the pace in the early going, saved ground through the turn, trailed into the stretch, summoned a mild rally while splitting rivals and earned a minor award. BIG CITY LIGHTS tracked three deep to the stretch, chased in range into the final sixteenth but could not produce a bid. STEAK FRIES followed in range from between rivals, raced in the two path on the turn and weakened in the drive. CHROMEFLASH stalked the leader from inside, came under a ride entering the lane and weakened in the late stages.
