GEOMETRY pressed from outside, came under a ride late on the bend, seized control in upper stretch, cleared past the eighth pole, drifted to the inside and held safely. CATHAL (IRE) sat off the pace on the inside, moved into range between rivals on the backstretch, went two wide through the far turn, moved out in the lane, finished willingly to gain second but could not threaten the winner. JIMMY BLUE JEANS took control and moved inside, set a pressured pace to the top of the lane, lost command in upper stretch, yielded to the winner past the eighth pole, flattened late but was able to save third. DAIRAGO (FR) settled inside, closed in on the backstretch, angled out at the top of the stretch but flattened out in the furlong grounds. SPEARFISH got put in tight and took up early then started to pull along the inside, trailed up the backstretch, hugged the rail to the stretch, moved off the fence in the drive and failed to threaten. RHYTHEM ON STAGE unhurried in the early going, trailed in the two path around the clubhouse turn, moved closer four deep on the backstretch, chased four then three deep on the far turn and weakened. CAISSON raced near the back outside a rival, traveled in hand three deep in the middle stages, rounded the far turn three then two wide and weakened.
