COLUMNIST stalked along the rail to the far turn, moved into the two path midway around the bend, bid three deep at the top of the lane, drifted in and bumped midstretch while taking over and edged clear late. ROYAL RUMOR raced up close in the two path, applied pressure to the leader in the middle stages, dueled around the far turn and took over late on the bend, showed the way into the final furlong, took contact from COLUMNIST and lost command midstretch, stayed on into the final sixteenth and held second. SOUL FORCE settled two then three wide early, asked in those same paths on the far turn, drifted in a bit in upper stretch, showed late run and got up for third while closing in on the top pair. ZAKIEL stepped to the front and moved inside, took pressure on the backstretch, dueled around the far turn and lost command, fought on to sixteenth pole and weakened late. UNCONVENTIONAL raced outside a rival at the back, chased between at the seven-sixteenths pole, ridden along still two wide on the far turn, steered out in the lane and came with a mild late bid. BLINDLY LOYAL broke a step slow, reserved on the inside then pulled into and early on the backstretch, stayed on the fence to the stretch and lacked a rally. GRAY THUNDER forwardly placed outside the top pair early, lost ground three then two wide on the far turn and weakened. CHAOTIC NEUTRAL tucked inside at the back, trailed into the stretch and failed to threaten.
