Footnotes
ACCURACY showed the way from inside under pressure from NAFISA, disposed of that rival inside the three-eighths pole and opened up around the far turn under coaxing, roused into the stretch, powered away when flagged with the crop entering the furlong grounds, continued to widen under hand urging to the sixteenth pole, then coasted to the wire late. SCARLET AVENUE stalked the pace along the rail, gave chase still on the fence through the second bend, failed to make any headway on the winner in the lane but kept trying to best the rest. PHILIPPA tracked three then two wide around the clubhouse turn, raced between rivals then went two wide into the far turn, tipped three wide at the quarter pole and churned on to regain the show honors. NAFISA pressed the pace from outside to the three-eighths pole, chased the winner in the two path to the stretch and faded down the lane. TAHITI ITI stalked four then three wide around the first turn, traveled three deep up the backstretch, dropped back three then four wide on the far turn and came up empty in the lane. AFFAIR trailed in the two path into the first turn, dropped well back in the middle stages, saved ground still lagging behind the field on the far turn, eased in the lane and walked off.
