SPLENDORA took control early between rivals then inched ahead, took pressure from HALONE leaving the backstretch, coaxed clear with a quarter mile remaining asked left handed past the eighth pole, drew off in the late stages under light handling and was in hand approaching the wire. HALONE raced up close three deep then pressed from outside up the backstretch, stayed alongside the winner to the five-sixteenths pole, chased two wide past the quarter pole and kept to task to hold second. JUSTIVAR was off slow to begin, trailed off the inside, took the turn two then three wide and was along for the show honors. SPARROW raced up close on the inside, saved ground inside a pair of rivals on the turn and weakened down the lane. DASHINGLY raced up close four deep early, chased three deep around the bend and also weakened.
