Footnotes
MAXIMUS sprinted clear and showed the way up the backstretch, coaxed along the rail on the turn, opened up in upper stretch, asked right handed then switched to the left hand and powered away in convincing fashion. SPUN NOT STIRRED broke a step slow, lagged behind off the inside, moved to the rail around the bend and passed a rival, steered out entering the lane and finished determinedly to get up for second. TOPPERS AT SEASIDE chased after the lone leader inside rivals, climbed early on the turn, remained inside to the stretch, moved off the rail in the lane, finished willingly but lost second at the wire. IRISH REBEL tracked widest in the early going, took the turn five then four wide and failed to rally in the lane. CANDY CRUSHER broke a step slow, climbed a bit from off the pace, entered the turn in the two path, found the rail around the bend, moved out in the lane and improved position. TARGARYIS forwardly placed five then four deep up the backstretch, was closest in pursuit while angling over to the two path around the bend but weakened down the lane. NOBLE MINDED chased three deep between rivals to the turn, remained three wide through the bend and weakened. BURNING RUBBER chased the speed from between rivals to the stretch and came up empty. MISSILE CRUISER chased four deep between then got crowded at the nine-sixteenths pole, dropped back four then three wide on the far turn, eased in the lane and walked off.
