Footnotes
TECUMSEH CAROLINE settled along the inside, coaxed along up the backstretch off the pace, moved into the two path around the far turn, steered out in the lane and proved best in the final sixteenth. STOP DIGGING raced in rage early in the two path then between rivals, chased two then three wide on the far turn, launched a bid in upper stretch, fought between into the final sixteenth and got outkicked by the winner. LOVE OUR FAMILY forwardly placed from inside then moved into the two path on the first turn, went up to apply pressure from outside late on the bend, stayed alongside to the far turn, headed the leader with a quarter mile left to run, put away inner rival at the top of the stretch, was confronted by STOP DIGGING shortly after, held a short lead over a pair of rivals in midstretch, then yielded in the final sixteenth. SHARP RIDE stalked the pace along the inside, ridden along past the half-mile pole, saved ground then entered the lane a bit off the rail, went between rivals at the eight pole and flattened out in deep stretch. LAMPORGHINI sent from the gate to take control, crossed over to the inside then took pressure from LOVE OUR FAMILY around the bend, maintained a short lead to the far turn, roused approaching the five-sixteenths pole, dueled at the quarter pole, lost command into the lane and weakened in the furlong grounds. PROFESSORS' PRIDE stalked three wide then outside a rival, remained off the rail through the far turn, got floated out a bit in upper stretch and weakened. BLAZING BARDOT turned his head and broke a step slow, raced on the inside at the back then moved into the two path, had once beat up the backstretch, had the rider lose his crop leaving the far turn and failed to menace. BIG MAMA SUE traveled outside a rival at the back, trailed into the backstretch, saved ground through the far turn and never got involved. ASADA FRIES sat off the pace outside a rival, spun three wide into the lane and came up empty.
