CHASE N RYAN raced up close from inside, challenged from the rail around the bend, took over into the stretch, edged clear with a furlong remaining and drew away. LADY K WESTFALL showed the way up the backstretch, took pressure from both sides on the turn, lost command while drifting to the three path late on the bend, fought to upper stretch, then yielded to the winner but stayed on to secure second. WAVE WITH ENVY bumped leaving the gate, pursued in range on the inside into the turn, moved a bit off the rail around the bend, angled out in upper stretch, got floated in and brushed with CIELITOS WISH midstretch, then kept on to earn the show honors. ONE HAPPY DUDE bumped with WAVE WITH ENVY at the start, trailed on the inside leaving the backstretch, angled four wide on the turn, produce a mild rally and rounded out the superfecta. CIELITOS WISH was forwardly placed from outside in the early going, bid three deep on the turn, fought from the four path coming into the lane, lost touch with the leader approaching the eighth pole, drifted in and brushed WAVE WITH ENVY midstretch and weakened. GOLDEN CHASER broke a step slow, chased two wide into the turn, angled to the rail around the bend, moved back out in the drive and failed to rally. MR. CARDENAS traveled four deep off the pace into the turn, steadied shortly after, angled down to the two path, steered back out in the lane and failed to threaten. HOOD RIVER chased off the pace from off the rail, angled in and saved ground around the turn, then weakened in the stretch. FIGHTING THUNDER chased off the rail then outside a rival, went two to three wide on the turn and weakened. LA MOTTA AVENUE antsy in the stall, broke a bit slow, traveled five deep out of range leaving the backstretch, angled to the three path on the turn and could not make an impact. MORE THAN ORDINARY followed in range for a bit then dropped off the pace when climbing a bit, raced three deep between rivals approaching the turn, fell back to last after climbing more around the bend and had little left for the stretch run.
