Footnotes
SILENT LAW came in and took the path of two rivals early, sprinted out to a comfortable lead, held a diminished advantage leaving the turn, roused entering the lane, responded when asked left handed in the final furlong and drew away late. PRACTICAL DREAM had her path taken by SILENT LAW and steadied early, chased out of range up the backstretch, went three wide into the turn, gained while moving into the two path around the bend, took aim entering the stretch, failed to summon the needed late kick in the furlong grounds but stayed on to secure second. PROUD STARLET sat off the pace on the inside, crept closer saving ground on the turn, remained inside and chased within range with a furlong left to run, failed to rally late but was able to hold third. CASALU got impeded by SILENT LAW and forced to take up early, dropped back off the rail or outside PROUD STARLET, rounded the bend three then two wide, tipped out and asked left handed at the top of the lane, also lacked a late rally and got edged by PROUD STARLET for the show honors. THERE WAS A STEWARDS INQUIRY INVOLVING THE INCIDENT BETWEEN SILENT LAW AND CASALU EARLY IN THE RACE. AFTER A REVIEW, THE STEWARDS RULED THAT CASALU BOBBLED SLIGHTLY AS SILENT LAW SHIFTED IN AND THE INCIDENT DID NOT WARRANT A DISQUALIFICATION.
