ITS A CINCH took control quickly and showed the way up the backstretch, inched away under coaxing around the turn, padded the lead in upper stretch when roused, asked right handed at the eight pole and powered away under steady handling. LORD DUNMORE stumbled sharply in the beginning, closest in pursuit in the early going, gave chase in the two path through the turn, moved out in the lane, could not make any headway on the winner but stayed on to hold second. THREE GEORGES raced in range off the inside, came three wide into the stretch, kept on through the lane and missed second. BAZOOKA CHARLIE brushed by outer rival leaving the gate, climbed along racing greenly up the backstretch and around the turn, moved off the rail in the lane and finished with interest between rivals to miss second and third. NO POKING AROUND settled off the rail, took the turn two wide and failed to menace. CHECK'S ON THE WAY broke a step slow, raced greenly near the back, saved ground around the turn and passed tired rivals. P TOWN PRANCER brushed inner rival leaving the gate, climbed across the dirt, pushed on through the turn and weakened down the lane. SENOR REECE broke inward, dropped back while racing greenly early, eased into and around the bend, pulled up at the top of the lane and walked off.
