JAI HO stalked in hand outside a pair of rivals, loomed three wide on the turn, took control in upper stretch, put away PONDICHERRY past the eight pole, met the challenge from CERTITUDE (FR) in the final furlong and held well. CERTITUDE (FR) settled outside a rival, moved into range early on the turn, eased out to the four path around the bend, launched a bid outside JAI HO in upper stretch and lacked the needed final kick to get by. DANGEROUS AFFAIR settled inside, was forced to steady and got shuffled back past the half-mile pole, angled out to the three path, moved out further at the top of the lane and finished willingly to gain third. AUDITORY broke out and bumped rival, trailed on the inside into the turn, summoned a mild rally in the lane while moving out then back to the rail and gained a minor award. PONDICHERRY took a bump in the beginning, went up to duel from outside, inched ahead at the quarter pole, lost command in upper stretch and weakened. MORGAN'S BLUFF got crowded approaching the dirt, put in tight again briefly past the five-eighths pole, went two wide into the turn, angled out and came five wide into the stretch and lacked a rally. FLIGHT TO QUALITY (FR) away quickly, stalked the top pair outside a rival, got brushed near the five-eighths pole, moved over to the inside around the bend, came off the fence entering the lane and weakened. RICH OF JOY bumped with CANDYINTHEMORNING early, stalked the leading duo along the rail inside a rival leaving the backstretch, brushed with FLIGHT TO QUALITY (FR) and steadied at the three-eighths pole, moved over to the two path, steered out in the lane and failed to rally. CANDYINTHEMORNING bumped with RICH OF JOY early, dueled inside PONDICHERRY up the backstretch, fought along the rail through the turn and into the stretch, then faded in the lane.
