Footnotes
WILLA T bobbled a bit leaving the gate, dueled from inside around the first turn, pressed or flanked the leader up the backstretch, put a head in front at the quarter pole, cleared into the lane, came under threat from WITH LOVE (GB) in deep stretch and was able to win the bob at the wire. WITH LOVE (GB) stalked the speed along the fence around both turns, got brushed by outer rival in upper stretch, drew alongside WILLA T in the last sixteenth, gained inch by inch and got outnodded on the line. TIME TO SHINE stalked in the two path, bid three deep at the quarter pole, failed to kick on with the winner into the lane, drifted in and bumped in upper stretch and held third. ALERAMO (IRE) reserved on the inside, trailed next to the fence around the far turn, tipped out and got boxed in upper stretch, could not rally once gaining a clear path but was able to earn a minor award. CHURCH LADY (IRE) settled outside a rival off the pace, drew closer around the far turn, tipped three wide at the quarter pole and failed to produce a bid. HAPPYASACLAM (IRE) dueled from outside around the first turn then inched ahead on the backstretch, pressured by WILLA T on the far turn, lost command with a quarter mile remaining, chased two wide into the lane, got bumped between rivals in upper stretch and weakened. FOLLOWING AN INQUIRY INVOLVING THE STRETCH RUN BETWEEN TIME TO SHINE (GB) AND HAPPYASACLAM (IRE), THE STEWARDS ACKNOWLEDGED THAT TIME TO SHINE (GB) DID SHIFT IN AND MAKE CONTACT WITH HAPPYASACLAM (IRE) BUT UNANIMOUSLY RULED THAT IT DID NOT COST THAT RIVAL A CHANCE AT A BETTER PLACING AND WOULD BE NO CHANGE.
