DROP UM dueled inside LAST CALL ZONDLO, put a head in front on the turn, inched ahead in upper stretch, then drew clear in the final sixteenth. LAST CALL ZONDLO dueled from outside up the backstretch and around the turn, kept the pressure on DROP UM to midstretch, then yielded at the sixteenth pole but was clearly second best. DON'T FLY STAND BY settled well off the rail, angled into the three path entering the turn, moved into the two path at the quarter pole, chased between rivals into the final furlong and got up for third. TAPALO stalked along the rail, angled out past the quarter pole, drifted out midstretch and lost third. CODY BOY broke slow and bobbled at the start, moved into range from off the rail up the backstretch, chased two wide then along the rail on the turn and failed to rally when needed. TOUGHERTHANTHEREST showed brief speed between rivals then raced up close in the early going, chased between rivals into the turn, got floated four wide into the lane and weakened. RUNKERRY broke a bit slow, stalked three deep into the turn, eased further out late on the bend and faded.
