Footnotes
PETITE TREAT grabbed the early lead then moved inward and rated on the front end, confronted by LESS IS MORE and dueled up the backstretch, cleared that rival on the turn, led a bit off the rail into the lane and drew away under urging. ORANGE THUNDER raced up close between rivals then bobbled crossing back onto the dirt, ran up on heels and took hold at the nine-sixteenths pole, chased along the inside through the turn, tipped two wide into the lane, moved out further in the drive and rallied for second. LESS IS MORE stalked briefly then went up to challenge for the lead from outside, could not keep pace with the winner around the turn chasing two then three wide and lost second in the late stages. OM N JOY broke a step slow, bobbled crossing over surfaces, steadied behind a rival early, had one rival beat into the turn, went between foes around the bend, spun three wide into the drive, moved out and kept on to earn a minor award. HULA PRANCER settled inside, had to steady off heels early, trailed past the half-mile pole, saved ground to the stretch and lacked a rally. CLOUDY ROSE broke out but was corrected quickly, rated while moving inside, steadied at the nine-sixteenths pole, drifted out approaching the quarter pole, chased three wide into the lane and weakened. GOING WITH HER forwardly placed early then moved up between rivals before getting put in tight past the nine-sixteenths pole, tracked two then three wide around the bend, got floated out a bit leaving the turn and weakened.
