RICKS RED STORM broke through the gate and had to reloaded, chased widest up the backstretch, ridden along three wide on the turn, closed in steadily and drew alongside the leader at the sixteenth pole and wore down the THE BIG CHEESEOLA in the closing moments to get up. THE BIG CHEESEOLA set the pace up the backstretch, led along the fence through the turn, set down at the top of the lane, put to right handed urging shortly after, remained clear to midstretch, then got confronted by RICKS RED STORM in the final sixteenth and succumbed to the pressure late. OCASEK chased two wide into the turn, spun three wide into the lane, tipped out and was gaining to the wire while edging DAMAZIO for the show honors. DAMAZIO raced in range three deep, came under a ride in the four path on the turn, put in a grinding rally down the stretch and was outclosed by OCASEK for third. CURRY raced up close outside the pacesetter, asked in the two path around the bend, stayed within range to the eighth pole and weakened in the late stages. DEVILNTHEBLUEGRAS broke a step slow, coaxed into range from inside, saved ground through the turn and weakened in the stretch run. SIPPIN WHISKEY coaxed along while climbing up the backstretch trailing early, saved ground through the turn and was never a factor.
