Footnotes
WARMING broke out and bumped, laid off the pace in the two path, drew closer two then three wide on the far turn, challenged four deep in upper stretch, seized control midstretch and drove clear. A THOUSAND MILES sprinted clear then took pressure from LEE'S BABY GIRL to the outside, moved clear around the clubhouse turn, carried a comfortable lead up the backstretch, coaxed along with a diminished advantage at the quarter pole, challenged by rivals in upper stretch, lost command at the eighth pole, stayed on well through the final furlong and secured second. PRECISE TIMING traveled in mid-pack on the inside, closed in while shifting to the two path around the far turn, bid three deep at the top of the lane, could not kick on with the winner approaching the sixteenth pole and managed to save third. WINK AND A GRIN bumped leaving the gate, reserved and tucked inside at the back, had one rival beat into the far turn, gained along the rail around the bend, challenged between rivals in upper stretch, flattened late and got edged for third. SLICK (IRE) tracked from the two path in the early going, chased three wide early on the far turn, angled five wide around the bend and lacked further response. TAKE A BREATH (GB) got bumped on both sides at the start, settled outside rivals, rounded the clubhouse turn four then three wide, remained off the rail to the far turn, came four wide into the stretch and could not rally. FIRENZE FLAVOR got bumped on both sides at the start, traveled three then two wide near the back early, trailed four wide leaving the backstretch, spun five wide into the lane and failed to threaten. INNOVATIVE tracked in the three path around the first turn, stayed off the rail to the far turn, got carried six wide past the quarter pole and weakened in the drive. LEE'S BABY GIRL pulled up alongside A THOUSAND MILES early, drifted out and lost contact with that rival around the clubhouse turn, was closest in pursuit to the far turn, drifted out late on that bend and faded between rivals.
