IRIDEO (ARG) allowed to settle at the back, moved inside, made progress around the turn, tipped two wide at the top of the lane, angled in and bid inside the top pair at the eight pole, fought into the final furlong and dug in to inch ahead late. TURN ON THE JETS (IRE) well positioned stalking the top pair up the backstretch, navigated the turn in the two path, tipped out into the lane and bid three deep, battled into the final sixteenth and got outgamed by the winner. UNCONQUERABLE KEEN (IRE) dueled for the lead from outside then pressed up the backstretch, headed the leader at the five-sixteenths pole, took over a quarter mile out, held a short lead over TURN ON THE JETS (IRE) into the final furlong, resisted between rivals in deep stretch but yielded grudgingly in the end. FORBIDDEN KINGDOM hustled from the gate and went up to duel briefly from inside before inching ahead from outer rival, raced on even terms again midway around the bend, relinquished the lead at the quarter pole, yielded in upper stretch and weakened.
