Footnotes
BANK FRENZY was hustled from the gate, dropped from the four path to the two path on the first turn, tracked the pace on the outside, was asked inside the half-mile pole, made a bid in the three path on the far turn, took the lead outside the quarter-pole, battled outside of the runner-up while remaining on his inside lead until outside the sixteenth-pole, swapped to the proper lead at that point and proved best under good handling. MAMA'S GOLD went to the front, raced inside on the first turn, showed the way down the backstretch, was given his cue while inside on the far turn, lost the advantage to the winner outside the quarter-pole, fought on well inside that foe into the final sixteenth but was outfinished while clear for the place. DRAKE'S PASSAGE bumped with a rival at the start then steadied in tight quarters, went around most of the first turn in the two path then dropped to the inside, moved closer with five furlongs to run, was roused in the two path on the far turn then driven into the stretch in the four path, pursued the top two in the drive and lacked the needed kick while able to get the show. LOCKE AND KEY stumbled at the start then bumped with a foe, went around the first turn in the two to three path, settled off the pace, saved ground while roused on the far turn, moved out in upper stretch, swapped back to his inside lead near the sixteenth-pole and lacked the needed response. DR. KRAFT dropped from the two path to the rail early on the first turn, settled off the pace, was ridden along late on the backstretch, traveled around the far turn in the three path, turned into the stretch in the five path and also lacked the needed response. GENERAL BANKER rounded the first turn in the two path, settled on the outside, was roused late on the backstretch, dropped back in the four path for most of the final turn then moved to the three path and failed to respond. ROSE'S PEPINO saved ground while well behind, moved to the two path late on the far turn and showed little. ROCK THE WEEKEND came outward at the start, raced in the three path on the first turn, settled off the pace, dropped back under urging late on the backstretch, rounded the far turn in the three path, spun into the stretch in the four path and faltered.
