CLEAR CONSCIENCE settled just off the inside just off the pace, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, angled four wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command just inside the eighth pole, dug in under lone threat to the outside and just got the bob on the wire. HUSH OF A STORM raced just off the inside through the first turn and then three to four paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked to the two path through the far turn coming under urging nearing the quarter pole, swung five wide into upper stretch, rallied to issue a challenge inside the final eighth and just lost the nod on the line. ITSALLCOMINTOGETHA coaxed from the gate, settled tracking the leader in closest aim from the two path, advanced on that rival into the far turn taking over command near the five-sixteenths, took the inside route into upper stretch, was under a left handed crop and came under left reined encouragement coming out to herd UNION TRAIL a path just outside the eighth pole when wanting to allow his charge a look at CLEAR CONSCIENCE eye to eye, got collared inside that station and kept on to preserve the show honors on the wire. BETTRLUCKYTHANGOOD brushed the near side stall at the start, got checked into the first turn when BE OF COURAGE tucked directly in front, settled just off the inside at the tail of the field and was taken in hand once more behind that same rival was a bit rank in front, came under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, angled four wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild kick. UNION TRAIL showed the way in hand along the inside uncontested early on through sensible splits, had ITSALLCOMINTOGETHA advance outside and got placed to coaxing when headed for the front near the five-sixteenths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, dug in under a drive and was herded out a path when that same rival came out to look CLEAR CONSCIENCE in the eye, then weakened in the late stages. BE OF COURAGE coaxed from the start, tucked to the inside forcing BETTRLUCKYTHANGOOD to check off his heels, grew a bit rank under restraint midway on the turn forcing that rival to take cautious hold once more, saved ground near the rear of the field coming under urging at the five-sixteenths, swung three wide into upper stretch and improved position to the wire. RUSE tracked the pace along the inside from mid pack, came under encouragement with five-sixteenths to go, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, offered up a bid a furlong out, then flattened out in the final furlong. BORN DANCER three then two wide through the first turn, tracked just off the inside and then along the inside, continued in the inside route into upper stretch and came up empty. GEM MINT TEN just off the inside through the first turn, chased three wide coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, angled six to seven wide into upper stretch and weakened. There was a Stewards' Inquiry into the stretch run focusing on ITSALLCOMINTOGETHA and UNION TRAIL. After review, the result was allowed to stand and the race was declared official.
