Footnotes
BERNIETAKESCHARGE was asked to show speed, raced in the three path on the first turn, was well rated while setting the pace, vied inside while asked early on the turn, floated out to the three path outside the five-sixteenths pole, lost the advantage to the runner-up while swapping to the proper lead in upper stretch, fought on gamely with that foe into the final furlong, switched back to her left lead while regaining the lead near the sixteenth-pole and narrowly prevailed under strong urging. STERLING SILVER raced in the three path on the first turn, tracked the pace on the outside, ranged up in the three to four path on the far turn, was asked outside the quarter-pole, took a short lead in upper stretch, battled outside of the winner into the final furlong, lost the advantage back to that opponent near the sixteenth-pole and was denied while far clear for the place. RACING COLORS settled on the inside, was roused on the far turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and safely secured the show while no match for the top two. AMANDA'S FOLLY was bumped in the hindquarters just after the start, brushed with a foe early, saved ground on the first turn, was well placed just off the pace, raced inside while asked on the far turn, angled five wide at the top of the stretch and came up empty. P MUTTER PICKLE bumped with a rival shortly after the start, raced in the three path on the first turn, settled off the pace, was roused late on the backstretch, went around the far turn in the four then three path and failed to respond. LIKA ROLLING STONE was bumped at the start then forced into another foe, checked between horses early, raced in the two path under snug restraint on the first turn, settled at the rear, was urged in the two then three path on the far turn, came out to the six path into the stretch and failed to threaten. SNAPPIN BUTTONS broke in and bumped with a rival, showed early speed between horses, tossed her head and fought the rider while wrestled back in the two path early on the opening turn, moved up to prompt the pace on the outside, dropped back under strong urging leaving the backstretch and retreated.
