Footnotes
MYTHICAL bumped soundly with a rival at the start but came out in front, showed the way down the backstretch, dropped from the two path to the rail early on the turn, controlled the action through that bend, responded well when asked for her best in upper stretch, came under a right-handed crop while extending the advantage outside the sixteenth-pole and proved much the best under steady urging. BLINGING IT BACK settled just off the pace, raced inside early on the turn, moved to the two path while asked near the five-sixteenths pole, chased the winner under a left-handed crop while under extra right-rein pressure in the stretch and was second best. ROMEO was urged along on the outside, raced in the four path while hard ridden on the turn, dropped back into upper stretch and tired while just able to get the show. BAYTOWN DREAMER broke in and was off a step slow, had his path taken along the rail early then moved out while settling at the rear, dropped from the four path to the two path early on the turn then made his way to the rail around the three-eighths pole, had the rider lose his crop outside the furlong marker and lacked the needed response. MERCILESANIHILATOR played-up leaving the post parade, bumped soundly with a rival while away awkwardly, tracked the pace on the outside, chased in the three path through the turn and tired.
