Footnotes
SASSY C W stumbled at the start and was last away, bumped lightly with a foe shortly thereafter, rushed up between foes to get the lead then opened up a clear advantage, dictated terms in the two path through the turn, responded well when put to a strong hand-ride in upper stretch and proved much the best under a continued hand-ride to the finish. GENA B made light contact with a foe after the start, dropped back while urged along, moved out outside the half-mile pole, turned into upper stretch under a drive, went around the turn in the four path, drifted in near the sixteenth-pole and safely secured the place while no match for the winner. VERNON VALLEY broke a bit awkwardly but came out in front, tracked the pace on the outside, chased in the three path on the turn, pursued the winner under a drive while remaining on her inside lead in the stretch and tired but was clear for the show. VARINISI was away awkwardly but even with the front, dropped back while urged along, moved from the rail to the two path on the turn and was no factor. TICKET TO RIDE broke a half-step slow then checked sharply between horses, was urged along towards the rear, rounded most of the turn in the five path then moved to the four path and faltered then was eased in the final furlong but walked off.
