Footnotes
A. P. KID three wide in pursuit in closest aim of the leader, came under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, angled six to seven wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command just inside the eighth pole, then drew clear to the finish to prevail. MI BAGO broke out at the start and was corrected before contact could be made with GOLDEN CHANNEL, went three then two wide through the first turn, then showed the way in hand just off the inside safely in front and patiently handled through to spinning three to four wide at the top of the stretch, got roused with three-sixteenths to go and came under threat to the outside nearing the eighth pole, dug in collared just inside that station, proved no match for the top one late while along for the place honors clear of the rest and second best. GOLDEN CHANNEL four then three wide through the first turn, chased four wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, went seven wide into upper stretch and weakened in the stretch while along for the show honors clear of the rest. NOBLE CONFESSOR five then four wide through the first turn, chased four to five wide under encouragement with seven-sixteenths to run, tipped six wide into upper stretch and tired. BULLDOZE coaxed from the start, chased just off the inside under urging with three and a half furlongs remaining, angled five wide at the top of the lane, tired in the stretch. THIRTEEN COLONIES five wide through the first turn, chased five then four wide ridden along with seven-sixteenths to run, went eight wide at the head of the stretch and trailed throughout.
