FOR THREE YEAR OLDS. Lasix not allowed within 48 hours of post time pursuant to HISA Rule 4212. By subscription of $600 each, to accompany the nomination, if made on or before January 27, 2025, or $6,000, if made on or before Monday, April 7, 2025. At any time prior to the closing time of entries, horses may be nominated to The Belmont Stakes upon payment of a supplementary fee of $50,000 to the New York Racing Association, Inc. $15,000 to pass the entry box and $15,000 additional to start. All entrants w ill be required to pay entry and starting fees; but no fees, supplemental or otherwise shall be added to the purse. The winner of the 2025 Wood Memorial and the top 3 finishers in the 2025 Peter Pan Stakes will have their entry and starting fees waived fo r the 2025 Belmont Stakes presented by NYRA Bets. The purse to be divided $1,200,000 to the winner, $360,000 to second, $200,000 to third, $100,000 to fourth, $60,000 to fifth, $40,000 to sixth, $20,000 to seventh and $20,000 to eighth. Colts and Geldings : 126 lbs. Fillies: 121 lbs. All Belmont Stakes runners must be on the Saratoga grounds by noon time on Wednesday, June 4th. Trophies will be presented to the winning owner, trainer and groom.

SOVEREIGNTY shied in a step just after the start when RODRIGUEZ came inwards slightly, settled along the inside past the stands the initial time and through the opening turn, tipped two to three wide down the backstretch in pursuit from just off the pace, tucked in slightly into the far turn keeping a close eye on JOURNALISM directly in front, moved to the three path just inside the five-sixteenths to follow that rival placed to coaxing nearing the quarter pole, angled five wide into upper stretch, rallied to issue a challenge nearing the eighth pole and seized command just inside that station, then edged clear under a drive to prevail. JOURNALISM bobbled just after the break and got out slightly shying out HEART OF HONOR a step, raced four to five paths off the rail past the stands the first time and went four then three wide through the first turn, advanced into the backstretch five paths off the inside to be just off the top pair, tucked three wide inside the half mile pole and began to advance on the front from midway on the turn, came under coaxing nearing the quarter pole with clear aim on the leader, swung four wide for home and displaced RODRIGUEZ from the front straightened away into upper stretch, dug in and was taken out two paths to look SOVEREIGNTY in the eye nearing the eighth pole, got collared just inside that station and ran on willingly to chase the winner home clear for the place honors. BAEZA just off the inside past the stands, tossed his head before heading just off the inside through the first turn, settled five paths off the inside down the backstretch in mid pack and tossed his head once more near the nine-sixteenths, tucked four wide through the far turn coming under urging with seven-sixteenths to go, tipped five to six wide into upper stretch, kept on under a drive to procure the show honors. RODRIGUEZ established the front just after the break and showed the way in hand along the inside through the first turn and then just off the inside down the backstretch coming under pressure from CRUDO to the outside, tucked back inside into the far turn and got ridden along with five-sixteenths remaining coming under increased threat to the outside, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, got displaced straightened away and weakened in the final furlong. HILL ROAD along the inside through the first turn, tipped three wide down the backstretch in pursuit from near the rear of the field, continued three wide through the far turn and came under motivation at the seven-sixteenths, angled four to five wide into upper stretch and improved position through the final eighth. HEART OF HONOR (GB) shied out at the start when JOURNALISM bobbled just after the break, crossed directly to the three path after the start, tucked to the two path into the first turn before tipping four paths off the inside into the backstretch, came under urging tucking to the rail half a mile from home, angled out four to five wide at the head of the stretch and passed a pair of tired rivals to the finish. UNCAGED forwardly placed three wide past the stands the first turn, tucked to the two path into the turn and steadily lost position into the backstretch before advancing tucked inside at the nine-sixteenths and moved once more into prominence half a mile from home, came under coaxing along the rail three furlongs out, continued in the inside route into upper stretch and tired. CRUDO forwardly placed three to four paths off the rail early on, tucked three wide through the first turn and advanced tipping back to the four path into the backstretch latching on the leader to prompt that foe to the outside, got shaken off a bit near the half mile pole and tucked to the two path into the far turn, came under encouragement midway on that bend and began to fade, spun three wide into upper stretch and tired through to the finish.
