PENTATHLON chased five paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking to the two path at the half mile pole, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, went eight wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command a furlong out, had the rider hook his crop on the left side into a pair of goggles already caked with mud around his neck and pulled them off seventy yards to the finish while edging clear under a drive kept to task. RIDGEWOOD RUNNER coaxed from the gate, chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch and angled in to the two path near the half mile pole, made his way to the inside placed to encouragement at the three-eighths marker, took the inside route into upper stretch and offered up a mild kick. UNLIMITEDPOTENTIAL coaxed from the gate, advanced in tandem with SILVER SLUGGER and vied inside a pair of rivals getting placed in tight at times by SILVER SLUGGER, got coaxed along through the turn and took the inside route into upper stretch, dug in and was overthrown by the top one a furlong out, then kept on to safely preserve the show honors. AGGELOS THE GREAT chased five paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn under urging from the seven-sixteenths, went nine wide into upper stretch and improved position to the finish. SILVER SLUGGER coaxed from the start, advanced in concert with UNLIMITEDPOTENTIAL and vied between foes from the two path placing that rival in tight at points down the backstretch and through the far turn, came under coaxing near the quarter pole, spun two to three wide into upper stretch, weakened in the final furlong. RE MARKABLY chased six to seven paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking four then three wide through the turn ridden along from the three-eighths pole, angled out six wide into upper stretch and passed tired rivals to the finish. ROOKIE CARD led early on and then vied three wide with a pair to his inside, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths and angled five wide into upper stretch, then tired to the finish. ROCKETEER broke out at the start brushing JOEY MUSCLES, chased four then three wide under a ride from the five-sixteenths, went ten paths off the inside at the head of the stretch, tired. JOEY MUSCLES got brushed at the start by the aforementioned foe, chased three then two wide coming under a ride at the three-eighths, swung four wide for home and tired in the stretch. HOT SPUN chased four then two wide coming under urging at the seven-sixteenths, tipped five wide into upper stretch, made no impact.
