Footnotes
BOOK'EM DANNO three then four wide in pursuit, came under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, swung four wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive issuing a challenge through the stretch seizing command seventy yards from home, then edged away to the wire kept busy to the end. MULLIKIN coaxed from the gate, showed the way briefly until displaced from the front by CONCRETE GLORY with six furlongs to run, pressed that rival from the three path to the outside, advanced to up the pressure midway on the turn getting on near even terms with five-sixteenths remaining, took over and spun two to three wide into upper stretch, edged away to the eighth pole, dug in and was caught in the final seventy yards while clear for the place honors. CRAZY MASON got away slowly from the gate without incident and was slow into stride getting outrun in the early going, saved ground at the tail of the field coming under urging three furlongs from home, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, angled in to the rail nearing the sixteenth marker once he went by the backing up CONCRETE GLORY and kicked on belatedly to the finish. NUTELLA FELLA was hard to load prior to the start, then went right in once the stall door was opened in front, chased five paths off the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn coming under encouragement at the three-eighths pole, angled out six wide at the top of the stretch and offered up a mild bid. NAKATOMI a bit fractious in the gate prior to the start, tossed his head at the start and was away last conceding five lengths to the front before settling into stride, chased four then three wide down the backstretch and through the turn coming under a ride at the five-sixteenths, angled five to six wide into upper stretch, made no late headway. SURVEILLANCE got bumped at the start by the breaking outwards CONCRETE GLORY, chased two to three wide from just off the pace, came under encouragement with five-sixteenths to go, tipped out four to five wide at the head of the lane and weakened in the late stages. CONCRETE GLORY fractious in the gate prior to the start, broke out under coaxing at the break and bumped SURVEILLANCE, advanced to establish the front six furlongs from home and showed the way in hand along the inside under pressure from MULLIKIN to the outside, floated to the two path into the turn carrying that rival three wide, came under urging near the five-sixteenths under threat as his main prompter got on near even terms, yielded the front near the quarter pole and took the inside route into upper stretch, then folded in the final furlong.
