Footnotes
RAGING TORRENT came away in front then was hustled, went around the opening bend in the three path, showed the way down the backstretch, vied in the three then two path on the far turn, was asked while on even terms with the runner-up at the quarter-pole, dueled inside of that rival under a strong hand-ride in upper stretch, was put to a right-handed crop outside the furlong marker, shook clear outside the sixteenth-pole and proved best under strong urging. FIERCENESS bumped with a rival at the start, moved out early then shifted from the two path to the three path on the first turn, stalked the pace on the outside, turned up the pressure passing the nine-sixteenths pole, vied in the four then three path on the far turn, was asked while on even terms for the lead near the quarter-pole, came under a right-handed crop while dueling with the winner inside the three-sixteenths pole, switched to a left-handed crop while losing touch with the winner outside the sixteenth-pole and was outfinished while clear for the place. JUST A TOUCH was carried out after the start, traveled around the first turn in the four then five path, dropped back while settling outside early on the backstretch, angled in with about five furlongs to run, was urged along passing the seven-sixteenths pole, saved ground on the far turn, moved off the rail outside the quarter-pole then was driven into the stretch in the three path, moved in some around the furlong marker and lacked the needed kick while able to get the show. WHITE ABARRIO bumped with rivals on both sides at the start, bumped with CASTLE CHAOS while moving out early, raced in the three then four path on the first turn, dropped back while settling outside early on the backstretch, was roused in the five then four path on the far turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and lacked the needed response. CASTLE CHAOS was fractious in the gate, broke in and bumped with a rival, bumped with that same foe early, traveled around the first turn in the two path, settled at the rear, was urged along in the two path on the far turn, swung out to the five path into the stretch then moved further out and was no factor.
