I'M WIDE AWAKE bobbled at the start but broke towards the front, pressed the pace on the outside, vied in the two to three path on the turn, took the lead approaching the quarter-pole, was put to a right-handed crop while remaining on his inside lead in upper stretch, shook clear approaching the furlong marker, swapped to the proper lead while drawing away outside the sixteenth-pole then drifted out and proved much the best. STEWIE went to the front, set the pace under pressure to his outside, was asked while inside to the two path on the turn, lost the lead coming to the quarter-pole and proved no match for the winner while able to hold the place. ON THE HILL settled under some urging, dropped back while grabbed with the left-rein some early on the backstretch, lugged out to the three path shortly thereafter, continued to lug out and reached the five then six path later on the bend, floated into the stretch in about the ten path, shied out from a left-handed crop inside the three-sixteenths pole then switched to a right-handed crop, found his best stride in the final furlong and gained to miss the place while able to get the show. FIREBALLIN made light contact with a foe while off a step slow, moved out while urged along off the pace, dropped from the five path to the four path while gaining on the turn, chased outside into the final furlong and weakened. LEO'S REWARD bobbled a bit at the start then made light contact with a foe, settled off the pace, was urged in the two to three path on the turn, swung out to the six path into upper stretch, came out and bumped with a foe late and lacked the needed response. ATTORNEY WADE was urged along towards the rear, moved from the three path to the five path on the turn, came out to the seven path into upper stretch and failed to threaten. UNCLE GEORGE was forwardly placed on the outside, chased in the four then three path on the turn, spun into the stretch under a drive and tired. CONSIDER IT DONE was urged along just off the pace, dropped from the rail to the two path on the turn and retreated. BALL DON'T LIE was off slow and spotted the front a few lengths, lugged out while dropping back fast early, fell far behind the rest of the field and trailed.
