Footnotes
ENGLISH CASTLE went to the front, traveled around the first turn in the two path, was well rated while setting the pace, controlled the action while inside on the far turn, responded well when asked inside the quarter-pole, extended the advantage under a strong hand-ride into the final furlong, was given one pop of a right-handed crop outside the sixteenth-pole and proved much the best while placed back under a strong hand-ride to the finish. OAT COUTOUR saved ground on the first turn, settled near the middle of the field, was asked with three furlongs to run, raced in the three path while ridden along on the far turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and finished willingly to get the place. NAGUILE bumped with a rival at the start, was rated just off the pace on the inside, came under urging on the far turn, chased under a drive in the stretch and proved no match for the winner then lost the place while able to get the show. WIND DANCER brushed the outside of the gate at the start, established a forward position early, raced in the three path on the first turn, stalked the pace on the outside, was given his cue in the two path on the far turn, chased under a drive into the final furlong and weakened. KISMEHOLDMETHRLME went around the first turn in the three path, settled on the outside, was urged along in the two path on the far turn and lacked the needed response. BLUE PILL rounded the first turn in the two path, settled in the back half of the field, was roused in the two then three path on the far turn and failed to threaten. COME FULL CIRCLE broke a step slow, was taken in hand behind a foe early then moved around that opponent, saved ground for most of the first turn then shifted to the three path, settled well off the pace, rounded the far turn in the two path and was no factor. JOEVIA'S FIRST bumped with a foe at the start, raced inside for most of the first turn then shifted to the three path, settled towards the rear, was roused in the three then four path on the far turn, spun into the stretch in the five path, drifted in near the furlong marker and also was no factor. BIG EGO was hustled from the gate, settled from the two path to the inside, was urged along on the far turn and failed to respond. SOLOMINI'S LEGACY broke out at the start, dropped back in tight quarters early, fell well behind the rest of the field while sluggish, raced inside to the two path on the turns and trailed.
