Footnotes
GONE AND FORGOTTEN chased the pace down the backstretch, went around the turn in the three path, was driven into the stretch in the four path, pursued the runner-up under a drive into the final furlong, gained into the final sixteenth and got up to prevail under good handling. PROBLEMATICA went to the front then showed the way, dropped from the two path to the rail early on the turn, controlled the action on that bend, responded well when asked in the two path inside the quarter-pole, was put to a left-handed crop outside the furlong marker, led into the final sixteenth but was overtaken while drifting out late but held the place. APRIL ANTICS was urged along off the pace, dropped from the two path to the rail very early on the bend, saved ground on that bend, turned into upper stretch under a drive while moving off the inside, gained into the final furlong and finished willingly for the show. TALKIN IN CURSIVE was well placed just off the pace, chased while moving from the rail to the two path on the turn, was driven into the stretch in the three path, pursued the leader into the final sixteenth and weakened. TONED UP broke a bit slow, angled in at the rear of the field under urging, moved out into the turn, went around that bend in the two path while ridden along, spun into the stretch in the three path then angled further out and gained but failed to threaten. EQUUS veered out at the start but broke with the field, was urged along on the far outside, traveled around the turn in the five path, turned into upper stretch under a drive and lacked the needed response. CHAMPAGNE SURPRISE broke out then was hustled, was hard ridden at the rear of the field, went around most of the turn in the three path then dropped to the two path, came out a bit in upper stretch, drifted in inside the furlong marker and was no factor. OPEN SOUL AUTISM chased the pace on the outside, dropped back in the four path on the turn, retreated in the five path into the stretch then moved further out and faltered then was eased in the final furlong but walked off.
