Footnotes
DAISY FLYER settled nicely while saving ground, came under coaxing late on the backstretch, was roused while inside on the far turn, moved to the two path outside the quarter-pole, tipped out a path near the three-sixteenths pole, rallied outside under a right-handed crop into the final furlong and closed strongly to get up late and narrowly prevail. CLASSIC Q went to the front while taken in hand, tugged rankly on the bit and tossed her head into the first turn, went around that bend in the two path under a tight hold, showed the way down the backstretch, raced inside on the far turn, was asked after turning into the stretch, came under a left-handed crop outside the furlong marker, remained clear to the sixteenth-pole, swapped back to her inside lead at that juncture, shortened stride late and was caught while just able to get the place. REINING FLOWERS saved ground while unhurried near the back, was asked with three furlongs to run, raced inside under urging on the far turn, was asked for her best while cutting the corner into the stretch, rallied along the rail into the final furlong, closed strongly to make a bid in the final sixteenth but just missed while clear for the show. LAVENDER DISASTER established a forward position early, was taken back off the pace under a hard hold nearing the wire for the first time, saved ground while rated just off the pace, was asked while moving to the two path outside the quarter-pole, pursued the runner-up under a drive into the final sixteenth and lacked the needed kick. ATERRADORA (IRE) rounded the first turn in the two path, settled on the outside without cover, was roused in the two path on the far turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and lacked the needed response then was unsaddled on the clubhouse turn before being transported off the course via equine ambulance. GOOD LONG CRY moved up before the first turn, rounded that bend in the three path, tracked the pace on the outside, was asked in the two path on the far turn, moved to the three path late on that bend, chased into upper stretch and tired. POOKIE was hustled from the gate, traveled around the first turn in the two path, settled on the outside without cover, was roused with three furlongs to run, raced in the three path while ridden along on the far turn, dropped back into upper stretch and came up empty.
