Footnotes
OUR LIBERTY BELLE raced just off the inside through the first turn, chased four paths off the inside down the backstretch and through the far turn coming under coaxing near the five-sixteenths, continued four wide for home, dug in under a drive issuing a challenge through the final furlong and was up in the last jumps to prevail. COQUITO coaxed from the start, raced three wide through the first turn, chased three wide in closest aim of the leader in a spread out field, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, took command near the quarter pole and continued three wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive inching away, came out to get a look at her threat to the outside near the sixteenth marker and was nailed in the final strides. COLONIAL ROSE chased just off the inside under a ride from the five-sixteenths, continued just off the inside into upper stretch, offered up a bid a furlong out, then weakened in the late stages. WHISTLER'S STYLE coaxed from the gate, raced three then two wide through the first turn, chased three then four wide coming under a ride at the three-eighths marker, angled five wide into upper stretch, made no late headway. SHEZANARCTICQUEEN established the front and showed the way just off the inside and then along the inside settling in hand into the backstretch and widening away, had the rider lean right and hold a strong right grip preventing against lugging into the rail until placed to coaxing with nine-sixteenths to go, remained inside through the far turn coming under growing threat to the outside as the field took closer order, yielded the front near the quarter pole and cut the corner into upper stretch before brushing the rail straightened away and folded in the drive. TRADE SECRET lunged at the break, chased just off the inside and then along the inside under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, spun two to three wide into upper stretch and never menaced. PISTOL LIZ ABLAZEN leapt at the break getting away last, chased along the inside through the first turn and then four paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked back inside into the far turn, got placed to a protective hold well behind midway on that bend and was guided out eight to nine wide into upper stretch and was eased up before being pulled up near the sixteenth marker, then got vetted and walked off under her own power.
