OATH OF OMERTA established the front and showed the way in hand two then three wide, widened away and went four wide into upper stretch, got roused with three-sixteenths to go and went clear under a drive, then got geared down inside the final sixteenth to the finish, the outcome in no doubt. SMALLCHANGEGEEP got bumped at the start by MOZAMBIQUE, who recovered inwards from a stumble, chased two to three wide down the backstretch before heading four to five wide through the far turn under urging from the seven-sixteenths, went six wide into upper stretch, proved no match for the top one while keeping on to secure the place honors. MOZAMBIQUE stumbled at the start recovering inwards and bumping SMALLCHANGEGEEP, chased four wide under prolonged encouragement from the half mile pole, tipped five wide into upper stretch and weakened. NINE N FOUR broke out at the start, raced three wide through the first turn, chased three then two wide under a ride from the half mile pole, lost ground through the far turn, faltered and went three wide into upper stretch, then got eased home through to the end.
