SPUN SIZE chased the pace on the outside, went around the turn in the two to three path, was roused for more outside the quarter-pole, gained to make a bid in upper stretch, took the lead outside the furlong marker, disposed of the runner-up outside the sixteenth-pole and drew away under steady urging to prove much the best. SPEED OF SOUND broke out at the start, sped to the front then showed the way with a clear advantage, dropped from the two path to the rail early on the turn, was asked outside the quarter-pole, spun off the inside into upper stretch, lost the advantage outside while remaining on her inside lead outside the furlong marker then swapped to the proper lead and proved no match for the winner while clear for the place. PROUD MARY broke awkwardly then bumped a couple times with a rival while off near the back, was urged along off the pace, moved closer near the nine-sixteenths pole, went around the turn in the three then four path, spun into the stretch in the five path then moved a bit further out and lacked the needed response while able to get the show. RIVER TAY (IRE) bumped with rivals on both sides while off a step slow then was taken up while squeezed back, was urged along at the rear, went around the turn in the three then four path, turned into upper stretch in the seven path and failed to threaten. LOOKIN TO ROCK was hustled from the gate then raced towards the front early, checked in tight quarters along the rail outside the nine-sixteenths pole then dropped back, saved ground on the turn and failed to threaten. LADY RIVER LILY came outward at the start then bumped with foes, settled off the pace, was roused in the two path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the four path and came up empty. RAGTIME SIZZLE was ridden along on the outside, moved from the five path to the four path on the turn, came out to the six path into upper stretch and failed to respond. PARTY AT THE POST leaned out and hit the gate, was well placed just off the pace, came under urging outside the half-mile pole, moved from the inside to the two path late on the turn, turned into the stretch in the three path and capitulated.
