HIDDEN PATH saved ground at the tail of the field early on, jumped well to maintain range with the front, tipped out two to three wide in the final turn once in the flat and bid through the latter portion of that bend issuing a challenge to take command a furlong out, then edged away to the finish to prevail. ST JAMES THE GREAT three wide through the first turn, tracked five then four wide briefly early on before tucking back three wide after jump three, went three wide through the third turn, jumped well to maintain his position, advanced in the flat to take command midway on the last turn with two and a half furlongs to run, dug in under threat and was collared a furlong out, ran on willingly for the place honors. BRIE'S MISSION two to three wide in pursuit from near the rear of the field, kept his position jumping well, came under urging once in the flat and offered up a mild kick. AWESOME STRIKE two to three wide in pursuit from just off the pace, raced three wide through the third turn, advanced on the leader to take command after the final flight, dug in under threat and was collared by ST. JAMES THE GREAT with two and a half furlongs to run, kept on under a drive through to the finish. ST. JOHN'S tracked the pace along the inside in pursuit from mid pack, came under coaxing after clearing the final jump, dug in under a drive and tired through to the end. SA'AD (FR) settled tracking from just off the inside just off the pace, jumped well to maintain position, came under urging after clearing the final flight, faltered in the flat, then got pulled up after the finish and was vetted with attention focusing on the left front leg and was transported off the course via the equine ambulance. MEMENTO (FR) showed the way just off the inside and then along the inside after jump three wide, jumped late at fence eight and yielded the front after clearing fence nine, then retreated under a drive to midway on the turn and was eased home to the finish. HOLEY MOLEY tracked the pace along the inside, jumped late at fence three making contact with the jump and again at fence five albeit without contact, came under coaxing after clearing fence seven, jumped awkward at fence eight and then left the course after that flight, got attended to on the main track in the backstretch for heat and vetted and was escorted by outrider before walking off under his own power.
