SOUNDBITE dropped from the five path to the four path early on the first turn, settled just off the pace on the outside, chased in the four path on the far turn, was driven into the stretch in the five path, drifted out while pursuing the leader under a left-handed crop outside the furlong marker, gained to get the lead outside the sixteenth-pole then moved clear under good handling to prevail. BROADWAY LIGHTS was bumped at the start, bumped hard with foes on both sides early, moved from the two path to the three path on the first turn, settled off the pace, gained in the five path under urging on the far turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive, was carried out outside the furlong marker and finished willingly to just get the place. STAMP OF APPROVAL went to the front, showed the way in the two path, was asked on the far turn, drifted out under a right-handed crop in upper stretch, was switched to a left-handed crop near the eighth-pole, continued to drift out in the final furlong and was overtaken then lost the place while able to get the show. SHE'S COOL came in some and bumped hard with a foe early, dropped from the three path to the two path on the first turn, settled off the pace, was urged along in the two path on the far turn, drifted in some near the furlong marker and improved to get the last spot in the superfecta. ALWAYS PRACTICAL moved from the four path to the three path early on the first turn, tracked the pace on the outside, chased in the two path on the far turn, dropped back in the four path into the stretch and tired. BREAD TO RUN broke a step slow then was squeezed back, went around the first turn in the four then five path, settled on the outside, was urged along late on the backstretch, traveled around the far turn in the three then four path, spun into the stretch in the six path and faltered. SWEET DUTCHESS broke out and bumped with a foe, was bumped hard early, settled on the inside while well placed, chased on the far turn and capitulated. LA GROTTE steadied in traffic behind bumping rivals early, went around the first turn in the three to four path, settled at the back, raced in the two then three path on the far turn and showed little.
