Footnotes
BELIEVE IN MAGIC chased the pace on the far outside, dropped from the five path to the four path early on the turn, gained in the five path into the stretch, made an outside bid inside the three-sixteenths pole, battled on even terms with the runner-up under a left-handed crop into the final furlong, took the advantage shortly thereafter, was given one final pop of the crop near the sixteenth-pole and prevailed under a hand-ride from that point to the finish. VALALA chased the pace down the backstretch, made a bid at the seven-sixteenths pole, took the lead in the three path with about three furlongs to run, spun into the stretch in the four path, came under a right-handed crop outside the eighth-pole, battled on even terms for the advantage into the final furlong then was headed by the winner, switched to a left-handed crop outside the sixteenth-pole and was outfinished while clear for the place. SCORCH was restless in the gate then bumped with a rival just after the start, raced off the pace while hard ridden, moved from the rail to the two path on the turn, chased the top two under a drive in the stretch and lacked the needed kick while well clear for the show. JUST A CLICK bumped with foes on both sides shortly after the start, was urged along near the back, dropped from the three path to the rail on the turn, spun into the stretch in the two path and failed to rally. GIGI CAKE'S bumped with a rival just after the start, angled in while settling off the pace, dropped back under urging late on the backstretch, went around most of the turn in the four path then shifted to the five path, turned into the stretch in the six path and came up empty. DOLCE VINO broke out and brushed with a foe while coming out in front, showed the way down the backstretch, vied in the two path early on the turn, lost the advantage at the three-eighths pole, dropped to the rail near the five-sixteenths pole, turned into the stretch under the crop and faded. CHOPPIN BROCKLEY brushed with a rival at the start, was urged along at the rear, shifted from the rail to the two path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the three path and showed little.
