SIERRA LEONE was last to commence but broke relatively with the body of the field, went around the first turn in the three path, settled nicely while relaxed towards the rear, moved closer as the field bunched late on the backstretch, was roused in the three path on the far turn, moved to the four path inside the five-sixteenths pole then angled to the six path while gaining, rallied in the seven path into the stretch, closed strongly on the outside, came in some while taking the lead at the furlong marker, fought outside of the runner-up into the final sixteenth and prevailed under strong urging. HIGHLAND FALLS went around the first turn in the two path, settled comfortably off the pace, moved closer late on the backstretch, gained in the three to four path to make a bid on the final turn, was driven into the stretch in the five path, battled between horses into the final furlong, fought with the winner into the final sixteenth and was outfinished while drifting in late but was clear for the place. DISARM dropped to the rail into the first turn, saved ground on that bend, settled towards the back, moved up quickly leaving the backstretch, was roused while inside to the two path on the far turn, chased the leaders in the stretch and willingly earned the show. WHITE ABARRIO was urged along early, raced in the three path early on the first turn then shifted to the five path, settled on the far outside, moved closer leaving the backstretch, was roused in the seven then six path on the far turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and lacked the needed response. MAMA'S GOLD was hustled to the front, raced in the three path on the first turn, dueled inside of a rival on the backstretch, shook off that foe outside the half-mile pole, was swallowed up by most of the field while racing two path to the inside on the final turn and faded. CONTRARY THINKING bumped with a rival at the start then was hustled, rushed up in the five path on the first turn, dueled outside on the backstretch, dropped back nearing the half-mile pole, retreated to the rear in the five path on the far turn and stopped then was eased in the stretch but walked off.
