ORNELLAIA broke awkwardly at the start and then shied out from the ONE MORE GUITAR, who was bumped outwards, chased three then two wide from near the rear of the field, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, tipped out steadily straightened away, then angled out to the six or seven path a furlong out straightening away near the sixteenth marker and went on by the leader with her own momentum forty yards from the finish to win edging away at the end. STEER CLEAR broke out at the start bumping ONE MORE GUITAR in front of ORNELLAIA, pressed the pace of CADENZA from the outside three wide before advancing to engage that rival in head to head combat through the turn, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and spun three wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive inching away to the eighth pole, got caught and overtaken late by the top one while along safe for the place honors. FLETCH'S ROCKETTE coaxed from the start, chased four then three wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, angled five wide into upper stretch, kicked on belatedly to procure the show honors latching on the aforementioned foe as she hit the finish. IMMACULATE MOON coaxed from the gate, chased four then three wide under urging from the five-sixteenths, spun four wide into upper stretch, kept on to the wire. SOLEMN VOW got bumped at the start by ALPENGLOW, who broke outwards, chased three to four paths off the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn coming under urging nearing the quarter pole, continued in the two path into upper stretch and weakened. ALPENGLOW broke out at the start hitting the off side stall before bumping SOLEMN VOW, crossed directly to the inside, chased along the inside and then just off the inside under urging from the seven-sixteenths, angled four wide into upper stretch and tired. PRIME CONNECTION coaxed from the gate, chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked inside half a mile from home and came under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, cornered from the two path into upper stretch and made no impact. ONE MORE GUITAR got bumped at the start by STEER CLEAR, who broke outwards, and in turn made ORNELLAIA shy behind a rival at the break, chased just off the inside and then along the inside under encouragement from the five-sixteenths, continued in the inside route at the head of the lane and tired.
