HOLD MY BOURBON showed speed then took the lead outside the eleven-sixteenths pole, moved clear near the five-eighths pole, was challenged leaving the backstretch, vied in the two path on the turn, responded well when asked coming to the quarter-pole, was put to a left-handed crop in upper stretch, shook off DILGER into the final furlong and just held off the fast closing runner-up under strong urging. ECHO AGAIN settled well back in the field, went around the turn in the two to three path while in some traffic, was roused at the quarter-pole, rallied into the final furlong and closed fast to just miss while clear for the show. DILGER (IRE) tracked the pace on the outside, made a bid leaving the backstretch, vied in the three path on the turn, was asked outside the quarter-pole, turned into the stretch in the four path, came under a left-handed crop inside the three-sixteenths pole, lost touch with the winner into the final furlong and weakened. GOODASIWONSWAS bumped soundly with a rival at the start, settled on the far outside, moved in leaving the backstretch, shifted from the four path to the six path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the seven path and improved position to get the last spot in the superfecta. PENTATHLON angled in while off the pace near the eleven-sixteenths pole, moved closer with five furlongs to run, shifted from the inside to the two path under urging early on the turn, moved to the three path while chasing later on that bend, came out to the five path into upper stretch and lacked the needed kick. CLASSIC LEGACY dropped well behind the rest of the field, rounded the turn in the two then three path, came out to the seven path into upper stretch and failed to threaten. CREDITWORTHY broke out and bumped with a rival, settled off the pace, was urged along in the five path on the turn, turned into the stretch in the six path and lacked the needed response. SPEAK EASY broke alertly then was hustled, dropped off the pace under urging, traveled around the turn in the four path and came up empty. RIDGEWOOD RUNNER was hustled from the gate, showed speed then chased the pace, dropped back leaving the backstretch, moved from the two path to the five path while continuing to drop back on the turn and faltered. DOLLY'S BANK bumped soundly with a rival at the start while also bumping with another foe, was urged along well off the pace, went around the turn in the four then three path and was no factor. BARKSDALE stumbled at the start and was off slow, settled under some urging, saved ground on the turn and faltered.
