Footnotes
SIX KINGS dropped from the two path to the rail early on the first turn, saved ground going around that bend, settled off the pace, moved closer with five furlongs to run, drafted inside early on the far turn, angled to the three path while asked outside the five-sixteenths pole, rallied to the lead into upper stretch, shook clear under a right-handed crop outside the furlong marker, drew away under the crop until near the sixteenth-pole then was eased up late while much the best. SOLO EMPIRE showed early speed from the outside, moved from the five path to the three path early on the first turn, dropped to the two path late on that bend, showed the way down the backstretch, was asked in the two path on the far turn, lost the advantage to the winner into upper stretch then came under the crop and proved no match while clear for the place. B D SAINTS tossed his head badly while rank in the three path early on the first turn then dropped to the two path, settled further out in the track on the backstretch, was roused outside the half-mile pole, chased in the four path early on the far turn, dropped in later on that bend, reached the rail outside the quarter-pole and came up empty while best of the rest. STJAMES dropped well off the pace while saving ground on the first turn, raced inside a rival at the rear, was urged along passing the nine-sixteenths pole, went around the far turn in the two path, was driven into the stretch in the three path and failed to threaten. READY TO REIGN dropped back well off the pace early, rounded the first turn in the two path, was urged along passing the five-eighths pole, traveled around the far turn in the three path, spun into the stretch in the four path and was no factor. MASTERWORK advanced between foes after breaking at the rear, moved from the four path to the two path while contesting the lead early on the first turn, dropped back off the pace later on that bend then shifted to the three path, tracked outside on the backstretch, was asked near the half-mile pole, chased in the three then four path on the far turn, spun into the stretch in the five path and capitulated.
