VINO ROUGE attended the leader from the outside two to three wide, came under coaxing near the quarter pole, swung four then three wide into upper stretch before straightening away in the two path taking over command, edged clear to inside the eighth pole, dug in under growing threat from a pair of rallying rivals and held safe to the finish. LOUISE PROCTER (FR) settled just off the inside near the rear of the field, tipped three wide put to encouragement at the five-sixteenths, angled five wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive rallying in concert with ANY PORT through the final furlong and was along willingly for the place honors. ANY PORT coaxed from the gate, tracked the pace along the inside, tipped to the two path nearing the quarter pole before angling three to four wide into upper stretch, rallied with good energy in tandem with the aforementioned foe to her outside through the final eighth and was along clear for the show honors. COLLABORATION tossed her head just prior to the latch being sprung and lunged at the start, settled tracking the front just off the inside from just off the pace, remained patiently handled until let out spinning four wide at the top of the stretch, offered up a mild bid. CELTIC CHARM saved ground in pursuit from mid pack, came under urging nearing the quarter pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and took back to the inside straightened away and offered no response. CAN'T FOOL ME settled just off the inside at the tail of the field, tucked inside midway down the backstretch, came under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, swung four wide for home, offered up a mild bid but could not make an impact. WAR SIREN (FR) coaxed from the gate, established the front just after the start and showed the way rated along the inside under the watchful eye of VINO ROUGE but facing little pressure save through that rival's presence until midway on the far turn, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths in response, spun just off the inside at the quarter pole and took to the inside straightened away when yielding command, then weakened through to the finish.
