Footnotes
MIDLAND MONEY was hustled to the front then showed the way, went around the turn in the two path under a bit of extra left-rein pressure, was asked late on that bend, responded well under a strong hand-ride in upper stretch, was put to a right-handed crop near the furlong marker, remained under the crop until just before the sixteenth-pole then was placed back under a hand-ride to the finish while much the best. AGGELOS THE GREAT dropped back under urging then raced at the rear, went around most of the turn in the two to three path, angled out to the six path outside the quarter-pole, gained into upper stretch, drifted in while remaining on his inside lead inside the three-sixteenths pole, swapped to the proper lead at the furlong marker and got up for the place while flattening out some in the end. NORTHERN CHILL broke in and bumped lightly with a foe, pressed the pace on the outside of the leader, vied in the three path on the turn, dropped back into the stretch and weakened but was clear for the show. PRIVATE DESIRE was urged along off the pace, traveled around the turn in the five path, turned into upper stretch under a drive and lacked the needed response. G T FIVE HUNDRED bumped with foes at the start, was well placed down the backstretch, went around the turn in the two to three path, chased into upper stretch and tired. VETTRIANO broke out then bumped with rivals on both sides, was pinched back between foes early, settled towards the rear, went around the turn in the two path, turned into upper stretch under a drive, moved out near the furlong marker and failed to rally. KEEWAYDIN broke out and bumped with an opponent, moved up to race just off the pace, saved ground while asked on the turn, chased into upper stretch and came up empty. EXECUTIVE ORDER was urged along on the outside, went around the turn in the four path, dropped back into the stretch and failed to respond.
