DESPO'S DREAM was urged along in third position, went around the turn in the three path, was driven into the stretch in the four path, came under a right-handed crop while chasing the solo leader outside the furlong marker, gained fast coming to the sixteenth-pole and got up under good handling to prevail. ALWAYS ANGELS tossed her head at the start but broke relatively with the body of the field then dropped back, settled well off the pace, was roused in the two path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the three path then moved further out, was straightened by the rider while put a right-handed crop just outside the eighth-pole, rallied in the final furlong and finished fast to get the place. GOLDEN DEGREE quickly sped clear from the rest of the field, drew off along the rail on the turn and opened up a sizable advantage, was asked in the two path into the stretch, came under a right-handed crop while shortening stride at the furlong marker, led into the final sixteenth then was overtaken and weakened but was clear for the show. READY FOR TROUBLE settled off the pace, was roused while saving ground on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and lacked the needed response. I'M BUZZY dropped back early then settled well off the pace, was roused in the three path on the turn, turned into the stretch in the five path and improved position without threatening. TALKIN IN CURSIVE switched out outside the five-eighths pole then chased the solo leader on the outside, went around the turn in the two path, turned into the stretch in the three path while under the crop and tired. OLGA broke out and a bit awkwardly, dropped well back under urging on the outside, navigated the turn in the four then five path, spun into the stretch in the six path then dropped inward and was eased in the final furlong but walked off.
