GREAT RICHIE M was away awkwardly, dropped back then settled well off the pace, was roused in the three path on the turn, swung out to the six path into the stretch, rallied into the final furlong and closed strongly to get up in the final strides. SHOW TIME was hustled from the gate, chased the pace on the outside then in the four path on the turn, gained to make a bid inside the three-sixteenths pole, took the lead while drifting out some coming to the quarter-pole, led under a drive until the final strides but was denied while able to get the place. LOOMS BOLDLY was hustled from the gate then chased the pace, gained in the three path on the turn, took the lead inside the five-sixteenths pole, was asked for his best in upper stretch, lost the advantage to the runner-up near the furlong marker, drifted out inside that marker and was outfinished while clear for the show. FORGIVING SPIRIT was urged along off the pace, angled in near the five-eighths pole, went around the turn in the two path, turned into upper stretch under a drive, moved out while in striking range near the furlong marker and lacked the needed kick. FITZPATRICK brushed with a foe at the start, settled well off the pace, moved out leaving the backstretch, dropped from the four path to the three path early on the turn, was asked on that bend, turned into the stretch in the five path and lacked the needed response. AMUNDSON bobbled at the start then brushed with a foe, moved out while urged along off the pace, dropped from the three path to the rail early on the turn, swung out to the five path into the stretch and failed to threaten. STOP THE SPREAD was ridden along on the far outside, went around the turn in the five path, spun into the stretch in the seven path then drifted in and failed to respond. HONORARY DEGREE lunged at the start and was off slow, dropped well behind the rest of the field while on the far outside, angled in late on the backstretch, rounded the turn in the two path and was no factor. MUAZARAH was hustled to the front then set the pace with a clear advantage, raced inside on the turn, was asked under threat near the five-sixteenths pole, lost the advantage outside the quarter-pole and faded.
