LITTLE NI four then three wide in pursuit, came under coaxing with five-sixteenths to go, angled out seven wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command nearing the eighth pole, then edged away to the finish kept to task. SURVEILLANCE chased five then four wide down the backstretch before tucking three wide through the turn, came under encouragement with five-sixteenths to go, went eight wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive running on to chase the winner home clear for the place honors. DAMON'S MOUND cut the pace from the two path under pressure from MAXIMUS MERIDIUS to the outside, tucked inside through the turn, got set down spinning four wide into upper stretch carrying his main pace rival five wide, dug in under threat and was caught nearing the eighth pole, kept on to preserve the show honors on the wire. NOVA RAGS a bit fractious in the gate prior to the start in two small episodes, tossed his head as the latch was sprung and lunged landing awkwardly and conceding six to seven lengths to the front before settling into stride, chased three then two wide detached at the tail of the field, came under urging three furlongs out, angled five wide into upper stretch and closed well and belatedly to miss for the show honors showing good courage after a poor beginning. MAXIMUS MERIDIUS pressed the pace of DAMON'S MOUND from the outside three then two wide coaxed along with five-sixteenths to go, got carried five wide into upper stretch as the leader went four wide, dug in under a drive and weakened in the late stages. TWISTED RIDE coaxed from the gate, chased along the inside coming under a ride at the seven-sixteenths, went three wide into upper stretch in retreat, and tired through to the finish.
